Position Summary:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Website Developer to join our team on a volunteer basis. As a Website Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining our website using the WIX Website Builder, with an emphasis on utilizing JavaScript and WIX APIs. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute your skills to a meaningful cause while helping us enhance our online presence.

Key Responsibilities:

 

- Develop and design the See Us Shine website using WIX Website Builder.
- Implement custom features using JavaScript and WIX APIs to improve functionality and user experience.
- Collaborate with team members to understand website requirements and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the website’s performance or functionality.
- Monitor website analytics and make recommendations for improvements based on user behavior.
- Stay updated with the latest web development trends and best practices.

 

 

Qualifications:

 

- Proficiency in WIX Website Builder.
- Knowledge of JavaScript and experience working with APIs.
- Familiarity with web development principles, including HTML/CSS.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Passion for nonprofit work and dedication to See Us Shine's mission.
