Family Respite Care
Population Served:
Ages: 3 months up to 22 years old.
Children and young adults with developmental and physical disabilities, including: autism, children with mental and behavioral challenges, children in foster or adoptive care, and their typically developing siblings who reside in the home.

Mission Statement:
Providing respite to families caring for young and adult children with special needs. “RAVE” itself is an acronym for Respite And Volunteer Experiences. Not only do our programs provide highly-needed breaks for caregivers from the extra care their children require, but our center and community based programs create a space for children to just be kids in a safe, fun, and social environment.
Offerings:
We give the "Gift of Time"!!! RAVE provides an essential moment of reprieve for families in our region caring for a young or adult child with special needs. This reprieve, referred to as “respite care". During sessions we prepare lots of fun activities for the kids to do. We could provide resources for families if needed. We have social work interns on site who help us gather any resources!
Respite is provided at their facility, and on community outings for each of these groups:
(1) RAVE Family Center, (2) Jr. RAVE and (3) Teen RAVE.
